The name Iguassu Falls Golf Club is a tribute to the Falls. The 18-hole par 72 course was built with the aim of becoming a reference in Latin America. The entire course has Bermuda grass and Tifdwarf greens, which are quite fast and homogeneous. Responsible for the project is North American architect Erik Larsen, one of the world's leading names in the field, after almost 30 years working at Arnold Palmer Design Company.
The fairways are very wide, with bunkers strategically positioned to make the golfer think twice before teeing off on several holes. The greens are small and require precision on approach shots.
